Other people’s actions definitely can affect our emotions. But blaming someone else for all your problems is never going to help. Taking control of what you can, though, certainly can’t hurt. It’s like the serenity prayer all over again: help me to change the things I can, accept the things I cannot, and wisdom to always know the difference. Change what you can. You just may be surprised at what changes in return."
